The Eastern Muskie Alliance formed in 2006 from a group of muskie anglers who wanted to improve muskie fishing locally. What makes the Eastern Muskie Alliance different from other organizations is our commitment to keeping a large portion of the collected dues available to our members, chapters, and their projects specific to their local needs. While there are necessary expenses that any organization will incur (website hosting, for example), the Eastern Muskie Alliance does everything we can to keep these expenses minimal. A mere $5 to $10 of each membership goes into the general fund to cover necessary expenses. The remainder may be designated where the individual member would like their dues to be allocated. Those funds are set aside until a project comes up in that particular area, state, or chapter. Annual membership dues are currently $40 for a regular membership, $50 for a family membership, and $20 for a junior membership.
